Abstract
Among the plum-stones recovered from late- and post-medieval cesspits in Groningen, thirteen different types have been distinguished. In the present paper these types are discussed and illustrated. Some of the Groningen plum-stone types match stones of traditional plum varieties from the north of the Netherlands and France.
