Elite in Drenthe? Een analyse van twaalf opmerkelijke Drentse grafinventarissen uit de vroege en het begin van de midden-ijzertijd

Abstract

The paper deals with the chronology of the late Hallstatt-early LaTene period, and with the dating of a number of rich Iron Age graves in Drenthe. These graves contain imported metal objects, date to a relatively s hortperiod during Ha D and La T A, and seem to represent local elites whose source of wealth may have been iron production.
