Near Bylany, Okres Kutná Hora, a small village 65 km east of Prague in central Bohemia, a large settlement belonging to the Bandceramic culture was excavated by the Archaeological lnstitute of the Czechoslovakian Academy of Science at Prague under the direction of Dr. B. Soudský.
