The article discusses issues related to intergenerational care with special focus on intergenerational interaction and reciprocity. Social scientists have always been interested in the processes of social cohesion, especially about the care carried by older generations for younger generations and vice-versa. According to the author, intergenerational transfers depend on factors like love, mutual understanding and reciprocity at the level of families and the society as a whole.
