Samenvatting

Using 1987 national interview survey data (N = 795) from the Netherlands, the relationship between principles of justice & judgments regarding the justice of the distribution of income is investigated from the perspectives of sociological & social-psychological theories of justice & of the psychology of choice. Analyses indicates that judgments regarding individual incomes & judgments regarding the overall income distribution are independently made, unless a specific framing of the situation to be judged takes place. 2 Tables, 2 Figures, 6 References.
