The article focuses on a research conducted in order to examine the labor force participation of women with children with special reference to the adoption of professional nursery in the Netherlands. The research revealed that in 1993, approximately 21 percent of all working women with children from zero up to four years adopted professional nursery. It has been discovered that parents who use professionally organized nursery are less ecclesiastically disposed and are more active in cultural activities. It has been predicted that the increasing labor force participation of women has originated from a change in appreciation for working women with small children.
