This article presents an analysis of social statistics from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of the Netherlands. The article makes specific reference to Informatiesysteem Allochtone Bevolkingsgroepen (lAB), which provides information concerning the society. These statistics primarily deal with foreign populations in the Netherlands. CBS strives to identify immigrants on the basis of a triad characteristics of a person: his own birth country, his mother's and father's birth country.
