Samenvatting

This article presents information on the report "Sociaal en cultureel rapport 1992," which deals with the prevailing social and cultural conditions in the Netherlands. The article makes specific reference to the first social and cultural report which was published in 1974 and compares it with the 1992 report. Different chapters of the 1992 report describe events and developments in different areas of social and cultural well-being including health care and social service; labor; social security; lives; education; free time, media and culture; and justice.
