Samenvatting

An integral criminology is urged, extending res not only into criminality as an individual & soc phenomenon but into the instit'ized reactions of society as well. The results should be integrated in a body of practical knowledge which would enable the police, the courts & the prison service to adopt a rational criminal policy. The more this succeeds, the more efficient these instruments of soc control will become. But at the same time the need increases for action-res into the power-structure of the machinery of criminal justice. High priority therefore should be given to res-programs which develop the sociol of criminal law. AA.
