A response is offered to Charles Vlek's critique (see SA 36:2/88T3969) of the Choice Questionnaire developed by Peter Neijens, Jan A. de Ridder, & Willem E. Saris (Keuze-enquete [Choice Questionnaire], Amsterdam: Vrije U, 1983). Vlek argued that the questionnaire has essential deficiencies & that evaluation research failed to answer essential questions about it. These criticisms are based on faulty arguments. Empirical evidence for this claim is presented, & Vlek's proposed alternative to the Choice Questionnaire is critically evaluated. 4 Tables, 11 References. Modified HA
