Samenvatting

Intervention models can describe how social phenomena might be affected when the outcome of an event is hypothetically altered. To illustrate this point, an experiment was devised to determine the possibility of extrasensory perception playing a role in the current events knowledge of Dutch adults. Analysis of questionnaire data (N = 400) using intervention models successfully allows for the influence of group meditation & prayer to be correlated with statistics on crime & traffic accidents. 12 Tables, 2 Appendixes, 26 References.
