The past few decades have shown an undeniable increase of interest in the history of sociology, as evidenced by the numerous publications of systematic interpretations & reinterpretations of classical authors. Generally, these publications consist of (1) institutional studies & (2) reflexive studies on the presuppositions of sociology.
