De beroepsperspectieven van sociologen in Nederland

Samenvatting

Results of the latest stage (1978-1981) of a survey completed by Dutch sociologists 4 months after their graduation show that their job prospects have decreased. Between 1974 & 1979, unemployment decreased temporarily due to an extension of part-time employment. Differences between full-time & part-time employees are analyzed; information is given about the branches of the economy that employed them, job requirements, tasks, income, & job security. The unemployed are compared with regard to U of graduation, specialization, place of residence, age, sex, civil state, & job-seeking behavior. 4 Tables, 1 Figure. Modified HA
