The defense of the scientific qualities of P. C. Neijens's choice questionnaire (The Choice Questionnaire: Design and Evaluation of an Instrument for Collecting Informed Opinions of a Population, Amsterdam: Free U Press, 1987) by P. Neijens, J. A. de Ridder, & W. E. Saris (see SA 36:3/88T5381) is challenged. It is argued that faulty arguments & neglect of relevant facts have overshadowed this positive appraisal.
