The role of the organization analyst in organizational change

A theoretical cadre is presented, in which the activities of the org & analyst can be located. Contributions of the org analyst to the functioning of org's are 2-fold: a contribution as a res process & a contribution as a process of planned change. The relationship between the org analyst & his object is stated from the point of view of the org in continuing change. The org analyst interferes in this process of change on 2 dimensions: interference in the functioning of the org & interference in the structure of the org. A process of decision making is directing these interferences. On the time-dimensions of these processes 4 moments can be diff'iated: the reconstruction, the prospective evaluation, the reorg & the retrospective evaluation. In this cadre the contributions of the org analyst can be placed. AA.
