Ideologische invloeden bij selectie van parlementsleden in de DDR

Samenvatting

The dominating value system in East Germany, as typified by W. Ulbricht, is Stalinism, ie, soc & pol'al change, achieved by the priority of the Wc's, in turn attained via the Staatsmacht (power of the state). This value system is seen to influence directly the selection of members of parliament, ie, Volkskammer [VK] (the highest org in the Deutsche Demokratische Republik [German Democratic Republic]. The VK is a manipulated rather than manipulating org. Its ideology, ie, that of effecting soc change, is implemented via employment of full-time functionaries, favoring people of proletarian origins. The Wc's attain vertical SM via certain channels, ie, the old-guard Communists & socialists, anti-nazi's, former Russian prisoners of war, etc. Thus the composition of the East German parliament is seen to directly reflect the pol'al ideology. However, it is concluded that future unexpected reactions to effected change might require more complex explanatory models. A. Chapman.
