Samenvatting

An attempt to discover some pattern in the att's of factory workers to their environment. A 2 level pattern of interest & concern is suggested: (1) re the immediate environment, the dept & working conditions, & (2) the factory as a whole. Between these areas of interest is a zone of relative disinterestedness. This can be explained by the pattern of worker interaction with their dept & with representatives of the factory as a whole.
